Memphis

I traveled to Memphis, TN this week to represent Truett at the CBF national convention. I am getting tired of traveling without Mark. The trip was good, it was long days though. I got to run on the Mississippi River and it was so beautiful. There were a few different Truett students and faculty there. We got to eat the all kinds of famous restaurants, and Truett paid, it was nice.

Mark's Summer Jobs

Mark has been busy this summer. He is working in the mornings as in intern with a Dallas county criminal judge. He has really had some awesome experiences. Then, in the afternoons he works for a lawyer in Dallas. He does all kinds of hands-on things. He is really loving the experience at both jobs, but it is hard work. And, he has to wear a suit everyday!

Brian and Laura's Wedding

Brian and Laura got married this weekend in Shreveport. It was an amazing wedding weekend and we had so much fun. The rehearsal was so cute and the wedding was beautiful. We were so happy to be apart of their special weekend!

Unfortunately we only took one picture of the weekend and it isn't really that good...

Marathon

Today I signed up to run a marathon this fall with Team in Training through the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. I am looking at doing the Nike Women's Marathon on October 19th in San Francisco. I started a website to track my journey... www.thegiftofhope.org. Check it out.

Czech Republic

I just got home from the Czech Republic, it was an amazing trip, but it is always hard for me to leave Mark and I had to miss his brother's wedding. My professor took a team of students to Turnov, Czech Republic to hold a Spring Break Camp for teenagers who were living on U.S. military bases all over Europe. We stayed at a camp and then during the day went and did missions in the town.
